Gretchen the Dog needs a home
Meet Gretchen!
Gretchen is about 5 years young and 65 pounds. She's very quiet and easygoing inside the home. After a short time in a new environment she settles in very well. She is very interested in what she can see from the windows and enjoys watching comings and goings. She has always been very happy and excited to meet all the people who have come into the house, even strangers.
She will sleep soundly all night in her crate, or left loose in the home she may choose a dog bed, sofa or join you in your bed if you invite her. She doesn't
require crating as she is not destructive in the home.
Gretchen is very affectionate and likes to be close to her people. She always likes to be in the same room as you, and will often come cuddle with you on the couch. She will frequently squirm around on the ground and expose her belly, looking for a good chest and belly scratch. She likes to be pet and have her ears massaged. She also likes to be covered in blankets.
Gretchen has excellent leash manners! She responds very well using a Gentle Leader head halter for walking. She will walk right beside you with a loose leash or just in front of you, sniffing around, without pulling. She calmly meets new people on her walks, and is learning that barking at other dogs isn't the best way to say "hello". Gretchen enjoys the company of another dog but will not do well in a home with cats or small critters.

All of our dogs are fully vetted. They have been vaccinated, altered, microchipped and heartworm tested and on prevention.
